IRENE VORRINK WINDFARM
The PVL underwater cutting torch was used in the Wind Farm IJsselmeer project,
at the oldest wind farm in the Netherlands, to cut the foundation piles of the wind
turbines fully automatically, two meters below the seabed.
The torch operates at the Windfarm IJsselmeer from the inside of the tube,
enabling it to cut, for example, a monopile of wind turbine foundations both below
and above seabed level.
This project occurred in the IJsselmeer.
